Joe Bernardi designs, builds, and finishes every piece of furniture by hand in his workshop just outside of Boston, MA. Drawing on traditional joinery techniques honed over years of practice, he creates furniture with the intention of lasting a lifetime.

Originally from the Adirondacks in upstate New York, Joe discovered his love for working with his hands as a teenager, while working as a ski technician. Though his passion for woodworking came later, he quickly found satisfaction in the tangible results of his efforts. Summers spent in the construction industry deepened his appreciation for craftsmanship. Later, during his years in the supply chain industry, Joe continued building custom furniture for friends and family in his free time. As his skills grew and demand for his work increased, he transitioned to woodworking full-time in 2024.

In his free time, Joe enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and wooden boat restoration. He lives in Malden, Massachusetts, with his partner, Katie.
